How To Delegate on Avalanche

Step 1.

Open or create your Avalanche wallet at https://wallet.avax.network/

Step 2.

To stake, you need to have your funds available on the Platform Chain (P-Chain). If your funds are on the Exchange Chain (X-Chain), you will need to transfer them to the P-Chain by initiating a cross-chain transfer. If your tokens are locked they are already on the P-Chain, so you don’t need to perform the Cross Chain Transfer from X-Chain to P-Chain.

Step 3.

Select the Earn menu item on the left hand side and then Delegate. Search for NodeID-C92M8LjvbfhERqCF321LncYZTpqNDqgX6 and click Select.

Step 4.

Specify your staking period, stake amount and the wallet address you want the rewards paid to. Note: there is a minimum of 25 AVAX when delegating. Pay attention to the end date and time of the Validator's own stake. Your delegation period cannot be set to finish after the end date the Validator has set.

Step 5.

Click Confirm. Congratulations you are now delegating! Your rewards will be credited to your wallet at the end of your staking period.
